CIS 1020 was a very excellent class that taught me a lot of valuable information on how to care for and use computers. From CIS 1020 I was able to learn about the different types of computers and what they are used for, which will help me when I purchase my own computer in the future. I also learned how to use Microsoft excel, word, and power point to create and edit spreadsheets, word documents, and slide shows. This information will be very valuable to me, as computers are a huge part of today's working world and most occupations require employees to have the knowledge to use a computer and computer applications correctly and efficiently. I also learned more about viruses and other programs that can damage your computer, and how to determine if your computer is infected with a virus. This will help me protect my computers from the damage that these programs can cause.
